Customers and Hoteliers all have dreams and aspirations. We are all in some way or fashion seeking to satisfy our inner child.
This in itself is not something new or unique. The main difference today is that Social Media is making our dreams more accessible.
When we research business travel we then have an onset of requirements that most of us are expecting to be met. And when we research pleasure travel we have a different set of requirements that we expect to be met.
Depending on the purpose of our travel Hotels, today need to understand our states to tailor their content to us.
Social Media your Hotels Story Board
As a Hotel Social Media Manager, I look at how Hotels is staging their stories.
No matter size or location all Hotel have the opportunity to share their stories. The key to great storytelling today is to involve your Hotel Community.
It is important when your Hotel involve your Hotel Community that you do some research. Don’t let some “expert, authority or influencer” hold your Hotel in Social Media Hostage. If someone indicates they will share your Hotel info or provide reviews in exchange for free Hotel Service then steer away from it.
Reciprocity represents stories that generate Win-Win-Win. A Win for your Hotel – Win for the Community that share info – Win for the customer. You want the Community to help you with your Hotels storyboard. Then you make their storyboard part of your Hotels Storyboard.
Someone that expects free Hotel Service in return has only their gain in mind.
Reach Out
Part of being a Hotel Social Media Manager is to ensure I fully understand all the principles of the Social Media ecosystem.
It starts with something as simple as reaching out and just ask.
Just to clarify so everyone understands this principle. My friends at Hotel Villa del Mare is NOT a client of mine. This is not the first time I have been part of a Hotel storyboard, and it will not be the last time either. The rewards I receive is way beyond monetary value.

Dreams becomes reality with Hotel Social Media Management
I learned that Senigallia is a commune and port town of the province of Ancona on Italy’s Adriatic coast, in the Marche region. The small port is formed by the lower reaches of the Misa, a river which flows through the town between embankments constructed of Istrian marble.
Just like a picture, it is the colors that make it stand out. And it is different elements of the picture that trigger our interpretation. Hotel Villa del Mare is closer to a Bed & Breakfast. My Hospitality journey started when I was young, and my father took our family to some hidden treasures in Northern Europe.
And this how you start to implement Social Media with your Hotel. Trigger consumer images that initiate a dream that is familiar to them. And utilize the Social Media channels that allow your Hotel to optimize their experience.
Your Hotels information is shared through various Content Marketing Channels. Most Hotels present content via text, links, images, video, audio, case studies, how-to guides, and FAQ. Identify the Social Media Channels that best portray your Hotels story.
For Hotel Villa del Mare, the most optimal channels are Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
