World of Hospitality is a biannual event organized by the next generation young hoteliers of SHMS Swiss Hotel Management School. Usually, a physical event, this version of WOH is taken online and is focused on bringing together SEG alumni from all around the world for a webinar full of interesting presentations, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities.
WHO WE ARE
Swiss Hotel Management School is a private Swiss Institution of Higher Education committed to teaching quality Hospitality Management programs that are based on Swiss Hospitality traditions while meeting the needs of today’s Hospitality Industry and 21st-century standards. We are proudly ranked #4 in QS 2021 World University Rankings for Hospitality & Leisure Management.
At Swiss Hotel Management School, students live and experience hospitality in operational facilities that replicate real-life situations since we believe in the power of learning by practice. Students manage the various restaurants on campus, as well as the spa facilities, and organize events for real customers, developing interior design concepts ready to be implemented in real-world situations.
World of Hospitality is a signature event organized by the young hoteliers of SHMS biannually since 2009. Our last year’s published virtual event has surpassed 6000 viewers with influential hospitality attendees offering a high level of exposure in the industry. This year’s edition will be organized virtually on April 30th, 2021 due to the Swiss Regulations regarding the Covid-19 pandemic with the theme of nostalgia – since we would like to turn World of Hospitality into an event that brings people together during this difficult period that we are all experiencing.
