Hospitality, Tourism and Travel are all growing sectors in the United States.
The customer experience today is impacted by a multitude of variables. And the Hospitality Industry need to capture new team members that have education, training, knowledge, and values that are aligned with new market shifts and demands.

- 75% are using a mobile device to consume travel content, compared to 55% on desktop

- More than half of respondents (53%) will not book a hotel that does not have reviews

Transparent Hospitality
During the research, I can identify data from various sources that support a shift in customer behaviors. I still will find data that supports a traditional pattern for the traveler’s journey.
Depending on the purpose of the travel baby-boomers in some cases prefer known familiar patterns for their decision processes.
Millennials, on the other hand, is more open to influence and their decision process is not as predictable.
During this shift, the Hospitality Industry will need to be transparent and meet both familiar demands and needs and prepared to meet new demands and needs.
